How it works
- Add each extinguisher and where it hangs.
- Print the tags (Avery 5163 labels or plain paper) and stick one on each.
- Whoever does the monthly walk scans each tag and taps OK or Problem.
- You see the building's status, and the log fills itself.
Will the fire marshal accept it?
NFPA 10 allows inspection records to be kept by an electronic method. Each InspectKeeper entry holds the date, the time, the person and the result of every line, and an inspector can scan any tag to see the last twelve months at the extinguisher itself. Your local authority has the final word.

Questions
Do my staff need to install an app?
No. The tag opens a web page in the phone's camera app. Staff type their name once; it is remembered on their phone.
Does it replace my fire protection company?
No. Annual maintenance still needs a certified technician. InspectKeeper covers the monthly checks in between and reminds you when the annual visit is due.
Can I track other equipment?
Yes: AEDs, eyewash stations, first aid kits, emergency lights, exit signs and fire doors, each with its own checklist.
